Rupert F. Chisholm Best Theory-to-Practice Paper Award

A case study of theory development by myself and Léon de Caluwé  has just been singled out for an award by the Organizational Development & Change Division of the Academy of Management. We had submitted a paper to the annual conference (in Vancouver this year) about the twenty year incremental development of a meta-theory of change, now referred to as the ‘color model’. In the paper we review how the model was developed and how it sprawled in order to better understand how academic practititioners can contribute to theory development. It is wonderful that the award is specially related to linking theory to practice and vice versa.

The paper in both its full and abbreviated version is available for all those who are interested: click here.
